2. DG13 ‘Fragments of Asbestos-Cement, 1940 to 2040′ + ”Architecture of the Aftermath’ | ESALA Frictions Lecture

– Content:  The content of the ESALA public lecture series (Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture) 2021-22 focuses on two interconnected themes: Community and Climate Crisis. This lecture series reflects the climate emergency, linking environmental pollution with issues of colonialism, racism, forced migration, and systems of injustice.

3. SDG13 Learning for a Sustainable Future

– Content: This 5-week MOOC course will explore the environmental education movement, encompassing education for sustainable development and global citizenship, the interconnected nature of sustainable development issues, and efforts to address these problems at both national and international levels through the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The course includes an additional module aimed at those working in formal or informal education who wish to apply some of the activities and issues discussed in the course to their teaching.

4. SDG12 Learning for a Sustainable Future: Live at COP26

– Content: The two-week course, held in parallel with the COP26 (26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), offers an opportunity to explore what COP26 is, why this conference and similar future events are significant, and to reflect on how you can advocate for collective action towards a sustainable future.

9. SDG13 Re-thinking Cultural Heritage and Climate Change Adaption

– Content: These videos are part of a free online course, “Rethinking Cultural Heritage and Adapting to Climate Change.” This short course introduces an evolving discussion on climate change and heritage. It encourages you to seriously consider the role of heritage in climate change response actions, including adaptation. Cultural heritage underpins everything we do, yet we rarely think about our heritage when we take action against climate change.
