VOLUNTEER SPRING CAMPAIGN 2022

The busy days towards the end of the year also signal the arrival of another “spring”… a time when NTTU students embark on volunteer journeys to bring joy to less fortunate circumstances. Engaging in volunteer activities, they uphold the spirit of community and humanity, full of both compassion and excitement. Armed with enthusiasm and youthful energy, they have brought a season of happiness, while spreading love to all households.
Launching into a series of social welfare activities, today on January 12, 2022, the volunteer force of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, in collaboration with the Thoi An Ward Youth Union – District 12, has coordinated efforts to care for the families of union members, youth, and disadvantaged children in the ward.

Continuing their series of social welfare activities, on January 13, 2022, NTTU collaborated with the Thoi An Ward Youth Union – District 12 to carry out initiatives. They focused on caring for policy beneficiary families and families who have made contributions to the revolution in Thoi An Ward – District 12. The youth of NTTU extend their wishes to these heroes of Vietnam for a healthy new spring, filled with happiness, so they can continue contributing to the prosperity and development of the country.

Continuing their commitment to social welfare activities, on January 14, 2022, NTTU collaborated with the Thoi An Ward Youth Union – District 12 to organize a playground event for children in Thoi An Ward – District 12.

The volunteer soldiers from NTTU Spring Volunteer Campaign visited and brought gifts to children with disabilities at Hospital 1A. These meaningful gifts were sent to the children at Hospital 1A on the occasion of the 2022 Lunar New Year, along with many red envelopes (bao lì xì).

The Student Union, the Command Committee of the NTTU Spring Volunteer Campaign 2022, would like to express our deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation to the dedicated efforts of the medical personnel, doctors, and staff at the quarantine areas in welcoming the approaching Lunar New Year of 2022, the Year of the Tiger.

The enthusiastic volunteer soldiers of Nguyen Tat Thanh University cooperated with District 12 Youth Union to organize the “Joy on the last day of the year” program. This included cultural and artistic activities, exchanges, and gift-giving to the medical personnel, doctors, and staff at the quarantine area of the Ho Chi Minh City College of Transport during the peak period of “Youth of Uncle Ho’s City join hands in preventing and combating COVID-19”.

The NTTU Spring Volunteer soldiers have officially launched their campaign to accompany Binh Thanh District with various support activities during the Lunar New Year of 2022, the Year of the Tiger. “Environmental Protection” is a significant focus of the 2022 Spring Volunteer activities. On January 8, 2022, NTTU collaborated with Ward 15 Youth Union and Binh Thanh District Youth Union to carry out cleanliness activities. They showcased their artistic talents by painting and beautifying walls with new green coats, conveying messages about environmental protection, and raising public awareness about “no littering” and “planting trees for environmental protection.” Their efforts contribute to building a Green – Clean – Beautiful City environment.

Continuing in the series of Spring activities, on January 21, 2022, NTTU Spring Volunteers joined hands with the An Phu Dong Ward Youth Union – District 12 to repaint old walls. Although not professional painters or artists, these young volunteers worked meticulously and skillfully, striving to make the walls look as neat as possible to create new looks for the old walls. This activity not only created aesthetic improvements but also promoted a green lifestyle for the youth and residents in the area.

The volunteers collaborated with the An Phu Dong Ward Youth Union – District 12 to clean up along the roads.

The joyful atmosphere of the first days of the new year has filled every corner, with families welcoming the spring and everyone enjoying the Lunar New Year festivities. However, to remind everyone not to forget to implement good measures to prevent disease, and strictly follow the laws to become exemplary citizens and fully enjoy this Tet holiday, the Student Union has created meaningful messages to together welcome Civilized Tet – Safe Tet holiday.

Participating in the “Celebrating Party – Celebrating Spring” Sports Festival, themed “Youth with Ethnic Culture,” at Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City. This event aims to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2022), the Lunar New Year of 2022, and the 91st anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2022). Thao Dien Ward Youth Union organized this sports festival to promote youth participation in ethnic and cultural activities across the ward.
