When old batteries are not properly disposed of, these substances can seep into the soil and water, causing serious environmental pollution.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know that old batteries can be harmful to human health if they infiltrate water sources or food?<\/p>\n<p><em>Recycling old batteries can recover valuable metals such as zinc, copper, and nickel. Collecting used batteries will help minimize waste and reduce the amount of electronic waste.
